And so it begins...

Oh I'm tired. So very very tired. A mixture of lack of sleep, out partying on friday night and maybe just because I have actually moved and did something this weekend. Here I am prying my eyes open because I do hate going to sleep early but I don't think I'll make it. This weekend hasn't been my usual slob around, stuff my face, do nothing weekend. Oh no. I went out partying friday (which I'm not too big a fan of, except the being with friends and dressing up!) didn't go to sleep until 4am and was up within a matter of hours, then died all day of a headache and then to top it off I physically moved back down to my uni flat today and I hate travelling! It is so weird being back and not at home with everyone. A part of me did want to come back though have a bit of independance again and escape from the mad house for a few days! Lectures start tomorrow and I am not looking forward to it at all. Its not a bad time for a monday morning (an 11am start and only for an hour!) but I do like snuggling up in bed especially because its sooo cold outside and being near the sea doesn't help with the nippy wind chill brrrr. I am looking forward to popping into town after my lectures though. I need to do a serious food shop as the cupboards are bare but I'm also going to take a cheeky look in a few charity shops for some books. I had a luush surprise yesturday too! I was running and jumping and dancing and screaming when I found out. There was a slight mix up with the figures for my university loan and grant, and found out I was entitled to a little more dosh so more money was put into my account. For someone who is always worrying about money you could have sworn I had won 40 million not £400 haha but I was ecstatic haha. Anyhoooo just thought I'd write a little post. I'm still reading the first Pratchett Discworld novel. Really enjoying it. It is so funny and witty and completely different to other stuff I've read. Oh and a question for anyone who has read them, are the Hunger Games series any good? I'm sure I saw the three books for sale in a discount book store so just wondering if I would enjoy them and if they're worth it?
Here's a photo of me and my girls from our night out anyway. I enjoy being all snug in bed with a hot water bottle, a hot chocolate and a good book more, but getting dolled up sometimes is good for you I'm sure!

  1. I wondered the same thing about Hunger Games - I didn't realise it was a series! I am reading the first one soon, can't wait judging by all the reviews it should be good.
