WWW Wednesday #6

I'm excited to tell you all what books I've read this week, because I know ALOT of you will be excited by one in particular! This fun little meme is hosted over @Should Be Reading and its a great way of sharing with your fellow bloggers what you've been reading, currently reading and planning on reading next. To join in all you need to do is answer the three following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  •  What have you recently finished reading?
  •  What do you think you'll read next?
So here's my answers for this week:

  • What are you currently reading?
I'm currently reading Covenant of the Faceless Knights: Beginnings, the debut novel of Gary F. Vanucci. It sounds really good and I love fantasy so hopefully I'll thoroughly enjoy it! I've only read a few chapters so not completely immersed in it yet but its early days yet and I can't wait to be sucked in! I've just finished two short stories written by him and they have left me wanting more from the author!

  • What have you recently finished reading?
Oh, my golly golly gosh, this book was amazing! I read it yesturday; picked the book up at 1pm and by 6pm I had devoured it all from start to finish! It was such a good story and a well written book, that I am so glad that I decided to buy them and take a chance! I really want to see the film now! Someone take me please?! I also finished A Discovery of Witches (review to come!), and I completely enjoyed it and cannot wait to read the next book! I also read Distant Familiarity and A Rose in Bloom (reviews here) by Gary F. Vanucci. They were fast-paced, action filled short stories that have totally left me excited for the novel.

  •  What do you think you'll read next?
This question is just so easy to answer. I would be reading it right now if I wasn't such a fool and left it behind at home when I came back to uni for the week. I probably would have read the entire trilogy by now! I need my Hunger Games fix and I need it now! I am quite suprised at how much I enjoyed the first book, and thought that maybe it wouldn't be as good as people were saying. But was I wrong! Amazing book, now I just need to get home (thursday can't come soon enough!) so that I can start to read this one!

What are you currently reading? What great books did you recently finish? Did you enjoy them or dislike them? What do you think you'll read next?

P.S Top Tip for you all this week. READ THE HUNGER GAMES (if you haven't all ready!)

  1. Hope you get to the movie for Hunger Games soon. It was really good. How adaptations should be. Catching Fire was my favorite of the series so hope you like it just as much.

Thanks for stopping by my WWW Wednesday.

  2. I thought the movie was great, so am looking forward to the book, as well. I'm glad the novel held up to expectations for you, since sometimes by the time everybody raves about a book or movie, actually reading it is a let down!
