Showcase Sunday #33

It's Sunday and that means one thing; Showcase Sunday a fun weekly meme hosted by Vicky over @Books, Biscuits and Tea. It's a great way of showing off what we've bought, borrowed and received this week.

Bought:

Ready Player One - Ernest Cline
Ashes - Ilsa J. Bick
Well my idea to calm down on the book buying front went out of the window a little this week. I ended up buying these two babies along with two others that I'll be showcasing next week once they arrive! Even though I badly need to start saving I will still be allowing myself a certain amount to spend on books every month otherwise I'm sure I'll get depressed!

For Review:

Jason and the Argonauts - Neil Smith
Dragonslayers: From Beowulf to St. George - Joseph McCullough
A big thanks to Osprey Publishing for these! I absolutely love mythology so jumped at the chance to review these. They are gorgeous and have some amazing illustrations. Really looking forward to reading these soon as they look great!

Netgalley:

The Eternity Cure - Julie Kagawa
I literally JUST found out that I've been accepted to review this. Ahhhh I am so happy! I absolutely loved The Immortal Rules and now I am so so so so excited to read this. Seriously so excited right now! I will definitely be reading this soon!

Fortnight Wrap-Up:

  1. Yay for The Eternity Cure! I need to get onto that one!
I also got Ashes to review from the publishers sometime last year, but still haven't got to it - I'm planning on getting to it very very soon though. I'm working my way back through the review books again.

    Great haul this week :)

  6. I got the Eternity cure from Netgalley the other week, I knew I forgot to add something to my list today! I still need to read it too.
I read Ashes a while back and I think I remember it being good! I'll have to do a re-read at some point and get the next book after it.
    Enjoy everything!
