Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
1. Patrick Rothfuss
2. Holly Black
3. James Dashner
4. Libba Bray
5. Laini Taylor
6. Scott Westerfield
7. Tahereh Mafi
8. Joe Abercrombie
9. Maggie Stiefvater
10. Lauren Oliver
I have read several of yours. I read Scott Westerfield's Uglies/Pretties/Specials/Extra series and liked it, but all of his other books are garbage. Mafi is good not great. And I enjoyed the Lauren Oliver books, but haven't finished the series yet. Here's my review on Raven Boys if you are interested http://ouachitaya.blogspot.com/2013/09/the-raven-boys-review.html I've read Shiver and really like it, but didn't write a review... it would be good for Twilight fans

I barely read any of these myself! I read Oliver and loved her, but Mafi was a bit of a let down. I think my expectations were too high. I will read on.
ReplyDeleteThe rest are all on my TBR still!
Happy reading!
Great list! I need to read Patrick Rothfuss and James Dashner too. I'm actually thinking about doing a Maze Runner Readathon in April. Would you be interested in joining?
ReplyDeleteOh, man, you should start immediately on Stiefvater, Holly Black, and Laini Taylor! Those are some awesome books you are missing out on... :)

The only thing I've read from Holly Black was her anthology and it made me interested for more! Daughter of smoke and bone is pretty good :) I still have to read the sequel. I recently read The raven boys and I HIGHLY recommend it. It was good. Delirium is meh for me, but a lot of people seemed to love it. And I need to get started iN Shatter me too!
