Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR List!

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

So I found this post a little tricky as I have so many books I want to read! Right now I'm actually just picking up any book that takes my fancy; I don't really do TBR lists so I might change my mind about what books I want to read. But these are the books I'm hoping to get to sometime soon. There's a few others too such as a ton of Bill Bryson books I want to read and a few Netgalley books. I'm trying to read a lot of my physical books because I'm (hopefully!) off traveling at the end of the summer and won't be able to take any with me! So I'm scouring my bookshelves to dust off all those books that have been waiting to be read for the last few years! Also some of the following books I actually don't own...so I might just have to buy some new books (cheer!) which is perfectly fine by me but I should be saving...

  1. I have a hard time with tbrs too! Seems like my excitement about a certain book changes more quickly than I can read. I just finished The Duff and really enjoyed it. The movie is great too, but it's completely different. And The Name of the Wind is fantastic! It seems intimidating, but I flew through it.

  2. I have The Name of the Wind on my kindle and started it awhile back, but put it aside. It's not a DNF, no way, just it demands full attention to detail and is rather chunky, so I'm saving it for a time when I can fully savor it.
    Enjoy your books this week!

  3. Great list! I want to read A Darker Shade of Magic soon, too - it's waiting patiently for me on my shelf. :)

Also, you're Welsh? High five! I'm not Welsh, but I'm living in Wales at the moment. :D

  5. Great choices! I just finished reading A Thousand Pieces of You, and I absolutely loved it : fast-paced, great, intriguing story! Can't wait to hear your thoughts about it when you get the chance to read it! :)
Heard a lot about The Kiss of Deception, I hope it's a great read! :)

  6. Some fantastic books on here, and books I've been dying to read. I have A Darker Shade of Magic all ready to start reading, I've heard only good things, so I hope you manage tor read it. DUFF is a good book, though, such a fun contemporary read without being too fluffy and ridiculous, it's just well written and smart, I definitely hope you get a chance to check it out.

  7. Oh! I really enjoyed the Name of the Wind! It took me a while to read, but it was so good. A Thousand Pieces of You and Snow Like Ashes are books that have recently caught my attention and maybe just maybe I'll have time to read them this spring. Great list!

Thanks for stopping by my list!

  8. This is the second time I've seen The Darkest Part of the Forest on a Spring TBR list. It looks like I'll have to check it out!

I figured The DUFF was based on a book, but I think this is one of those times where I'll see the movie (eventually, when it comes out on Redbox or something) and forgo the book.

It looks like you've got an exciting TBR list. :) Happy reading!

  11. I have read A Thousand pieces of you (nice), Snow Like Ashes (meh) and The Name of The Wind (not bad) from your list.
I hope I will have time to squeeze in A Darker Shade of Magic to read this spring (although it's not on my list). Love the parallel Londons idea.
But I hope you enjoy them all!
