Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
I absolutely love the following names and think that they're all unusual but beautiful and unique. They're in no particular order and you will also realise that I've chosen all female names to narrow it down a little.
1. Penryn - Angelfall by Susan Ee
2. Katniss - The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
3. Arwen - The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien
4. Eowyn - The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien
5. Celaena - Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
6. Yelena - Poison Study by Maria V Snyder
7. Hermione - Harry Potter Series by J K Rowling
8. Luthien - The Silmarillion by JRR Tolkien
9. Sansa - A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R R Martin
10. Daenerys - A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R R Martin
Sansa is such a lovely name! I love it too. I like Katniss too. :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, I can't believe I forgot Eowyn-- awesome choice!!
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty weird names. I have a feeling authors use really weird names or different spellings of common names to make their characters stand out and be memorable! Of these (aside from Hermione of course), I'm liking Penryn. It sounds nice :)
ReplyDeleteAll the names on your list are so unusual!I love the ones from the Lord of the Rings and I seriously need to reread the trilogy!Thank you for stopping by my TTT.Happy Reading!
