In My Mailbox #7

In My Mailbox, hosted over @The Story Siren, is a meme that I really enjoy so that I can show you all my buys but this week has been pretty quiet book wise!

Poison Study - Maria V. Snyder (Goodreads)
Remember the Alamo? American History in Bite-Sized Chunks (Goodreads)
The Heretic Queen - Michelle Moran (Goodreads)
I have taken full advantage of the Amazon kindle spring sale and picked up these three ebooks for 99p! I have read Michelle Moran's books and loved them, and I also love Ancient Egyptian history so I'm sure I'll thoroughly enjoy this story. I really don't know much about American history, and I love these little books of information so I snapped up this book and I'm looking forward to learning some new things! Poison Study sounded pretty interesting too :)

Received for Review:
Wraith's Forest - L. J. Leger (Goodreads)
This is a take on the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale and it sounds pretty good so I'm looking forward to reading this in the next week or so :)

Venom in her Veins - Tim Pratt (Goodreads)
This sounds pretty interesting so I immediately requested it and was accepted so I'll dive into this soon :)

What's in your mailbox this week?

  1. Great haul!

  3. What a nice haul! I may have to add some of these to my TBR pile.

    Thanks for sharing your goodies!

  4. 'Poison Study' is fantastic - I pretty much chain read the series because it was seriously addictive. It reads a lot more like YA fantasy than high fantasy but has more adult themes than YA books tend to so there's a nice balance.

I've since read a fair few of Snyder's other books and they're actually all great - will be interested to see what you think.

  5. hope you enjoy posion studies!!

I love reading all of your comments so please leave me a little one below :) Also, Lost in Thought blog is a free award zone. Thank you for the thought!
