WWW Wednesday #8

Happy Wednesday everyone :) Hope your all having a good week so far. WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB over @Should Be Reading and to join in all you have to do is answer the three following questions:
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you'll read next?

Here are my answers for this week:

  •   What are you currently reading?
I'm participating in the Wicked Wildfire Read-a-thon this week and I'm hoping to read three of my review copies that I haven't got round to reading yet. The author of this book asked me to review it and I've only just started it and I'm liking it so far. It is very elegantly written and very much in the tone of the period it is set but it also makes for a little tough reading but it seems very promising and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the story.

  • What did you recently finish reading?
I finished Mass Effect: Revelation a day ago and completely enjoyed it! It was my first science-fiction novel and it was so good but I may be a little biased as I love the video games! I am totally swept up in the world of Mass Effect at the moment and I'm currently playing the third game which is amazing. I hope to buy the other two books by this same author soon as they're just great reads. I also read a few books on holiday too. I finished Beyond the Wall: Exploring George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series. There was some amazing essays in this book and just loved hearing other peoples opinions on the series. I also read Circle Spinner and Other Tales by Elizabeth Baxter, a short story collection that I completely enjoyed. Another book I finished was also Prophecy of the Most Beautiful by Diantha Jones and it was such a fun book about greek mythology with a twist!

  •  What do you think you'll read next?
Look what I had from netgalley!!! Eee I am so excited to read this book! It is definitely next in line to read after reading a few ARC's and a book that was chosen for this months' Random Reads meme. I cannot wait to read this book as I really enjoyed A Discovery of Witches even if I'm not too fussed on paranormal books usually. It was an amazing book and I can't wait to meet up with Diana and Matthew again! Yay!

  2. My brother's a huge fan of the Halo books, so if you like the Halo series that might be worth checking out. I had no clue there was a Mass Effect novel, though I guess it's not surprising.

    Here's my WWW Wednesdays.
