Top Ten Tuesday: Worlds I'd Never Like To Live In

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

There was a lot of worlds to choose from for this one because of the many horrible and frightening worlds depicted in many dystopian or fantasy novels. Below I've listed 10 books where I would hate to live in the worlds portrayed.

1. The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins
2. Pawn - Aimee Carter
3. The Final Empire - Brandon Sanderson
4. The Darkest Minds - Alexandra Bracken
5. Enclave - Ann Aguirre
6. Poison Princess - Kresley Cole
7. Angelfall - Susan Ee
8. The 5th Wave - Rick Yancey
9. The Declaration - Gemma Malley
10. The Immortal Rules - Julie Kagawa

  1. I see we share some! THG made all the lists I think, and rightly so! :D It's scary.
Same goes for Kagawa's world, so so creepy! I wouldn't dare sleep a minute there.

  2. Hunger Games for the overall win, I think. Who would ever elect to live there?! No thank you. Great list!

  3. The only one of these I've read is THG, though a couple of them are on my to-read shelf. Shame on me.

I'm not surprised it's on so many people's lists, though. Though I remember a phase where loads of fans wanted to be in that world... (maybe I imagined it).
